This is a community-run project, made by a large network of literary scholars, librarians, students, and programmers from around the world. Anyone can get involved. All of our code and data is publicly available and remixable.
We don't just want to create flashy book interfaces. We want to digitally represent books commensurately with the way we understand them. This means close attention to the text, and the history of its readings.
Our technology stack is meant to be modular, repeatable, and future-proof. This is not just another Digital Humanities project. We want to make the digital editions framework for the future.
